Let's see if I can keep this up; I spend a lot of my in between time (between my day job or film projects or sleeping) drawing in a battered old sketchbook I carry around with me. I thought it would be fun to start sharing the content of this sketch book on the internet, especially as in the last year or so, the quality of these personal exercises has been getting better.
So every Sunday, from now until I either lose focus or just get too busy to keep it up, will be 'Sketch Sunday'. These will probably be works in progress, with the completed works being uploaded the following week. Of course, sometimes I don't finish these things at all, and they will just remain fragments. Either way, I hope you get a kick out of some of my brain vomit.
This Sunday is a picture inspired by my habit of eating lunch or dinner at nondescript restaurants. I always get a kick out of people who seem genuinely ashamed to be there, be it time constraints, or just a weakness for grease and instant satisfaction. There's also the comfort aspect of eating in relative obscurity, free of the pretensions and class ideals that go with the more upscale options. At least, that what drives me to these places.
