With The Ride's Indiegogo campaign in full swing, I haven't had time to do much personal art (too busy firing off e-mails and scheming), so here is a glimpse from an abandoned project: a full comic about the life of Captain Beefheart. I never got beyond a few rough conceptual drawings and a basic layout, but as a life long fan, it was a blast to draw band members Zoot Horn Rollo, Rocket Morton, and of course, Captain Beefheart in his various incarnations.
