Almost as soon as I launched my Etsy Account last week, an order came in - from my Mom! She wanted a portrait done of her husband Jim Branson, who is definitely on my list of favorite people; retired journalist, jazz aficionado, and all around swell guy, he also has really distinctive features that are a lot of fun to draw! Plus, she purchased the pencil portrait option, giving me a chance to really work out my newly acquired Palomino Blackwing. The results are below, and I'm pretty proud of them!
