New Film Project To Be Funded Through Indie Go Go: The Ride

All right, I know I've been teasing at this announcement for weeks now. So here it is.

As of this month, I am working on a new film project. It's called 'The Ride', and is my first original work since 'Help Wanted' back in 2010. It will be a short, and features the usual mix of horror, comedy, and social satire, but also takes many steps forward in terms of plot and characterization.

But the big thing that distinguishes this project from my previous films will be Indiegogo. I'll be launching a crowd sourcing campaign sometime over the next two months. The funds raised will go a long way towards helping me work with better equipment and make a more polished and fleshed out film. As well, and most importantly, I think it's time my cast and crew get paid. Most of my films have been made with the same group of people continuing to lend their support for nothing more than pizza, beer, and the chance to watch me pull out my hair for twelve hours a day, and I owe it to them for their effort, love, and support!

I'll be updating frequently over the next few months with production art, storyboard samples, and of course, the first campaign video, which I'm currently in the throes of shooting.
