Homeroom presents ... 'Recess, issue 2'!

Back in March, two friends of mine put together an online magazine called 'Recess', a fantastic collage of writing, art, and madness. I was very thrilled to have one of my sketch sundays featured, and to see the work of fellow artist friends like Karlin Collette Jones.
The new issue just dropped this morning, and I've been going through it while doing my morning intake of black coffee, cigarettes, and music. It's a good mix. Editors Rob Bieselin, Austin Jose and Rachel Rachel Nishimura have really outdone themselves with the layout of this issue; whereas the March issue looked like a yearbook from the 1970's, the June issue is a tribute to early 90's video games (how many hours of my life were lost to Super Mario Brothers?). Paintings, sketches, poetry and midnight confessions all bump up against each other in a free-associative layout that is as much fun to look at as read, and actually becomes a bit of art its self.
Keep your eyes peeled for 'Tacos Based On T.V Shows', and 'Peeing Tips'. As well, I did an illustration on the agony of filming an 'Indie Go Go' pitch video which can only be seen at 'Recess', located towards the end.
